What’s been happening in Nunnington?

Parish council vacancy

As you probably know by now, there is a vacancy on the Parish Council.

However, North Yorkshire Council (NYC) has told the Council that a formal election will cost around £2,600. We have posted details of the Parish Council’s alternative plan to fill the vacancy on the Council without spending a fortune (see the September Diary or our website at nunnington.net/pc-election-update/).

Important: potential candidates must notify the Clerk to the Council (Maggie Dickinson) by 16:00 on Friday, 16th September.

We will post and email further election process details as they become available.

August Bank Holiday events

The village raised over £500 for charity from August Bank Holiday weekend events. See nunnington.net/aug-24/.
