February Pop-up Pub

Pip Garbut sang with style, helping to blow away the winter blues whilst raising funds for Cancer Research

It was a full house for the pop-up pub, as the village got together for the first time after Christmas.

The Village Hall Committee, knowing Donna would be there to listen to Pip, ambushed her with a present and speech to thank her for everything she had done for the Village Hall over the years, not least taking responsibility for organising the hire of the Hall and taking bookings.

Pip Garbutt kindly played and sang a selection of good ol’ rock, concluding with a wonderful version of American Pie.

Pip also raised a substantial sum for Cancer Research, a charity he supports with huge enthusiasm

Thanks, as always, to the Village Hall Committee for organising the evening. It is time and energy-consuming and much appreciated by the parish.
