Nunnington Onwards and Upwards

Inspired by the January 25 Parish Council meeting, Stephen Rooke is proposing a discussion group to look at the future of Nunnington Parish including (but not limited to):

• Events and venues (short and long-term)
• The Village Hall
• The playing field
• The River Rye
• Footpaths and walkers
• Grants available

The group, to be called Nunnington Onwards and Upwards, would be independent and would push for solutions to these and other issues so that Nunnington remains a fantastic place to live.

The Parish Council is totally behind the idea, and Stephen Rooke has volunteered to lead the group and get the ball rolling.

However, it is only viable if the Parish wants it. The idea needs the village’s backing, and you are therefore invited to express your support and tell us about your vision for the parish’s future.

If sufficient support is received, the discussion group will become a formal action group with a leadership team and agreed-upon terms of reference.

Please respond in the comments section below, on the Facebook post in the village Facebook Group, or by private email to news-team@nunnington.net by Sunday 16th February.
