Goodbye and hello! A look at what's new at Nunnington Studios this Spring. Come and see!

Changes are afoot at Nunnington Studios:

  • Louise Dwyer, a jeweller, now shares a studio with ceramicist Pamela Thorby; they have some beautiful creations on display, so call in and take a look
  • Helen Collard is moving into Mark Edgerton’s old photography studio, which she will use in her creator mode
  • Mark has moved to new studios in Hutton-le-Hole; do call in if you visit the village
  • Tom continues to run Apeman Interiors and is expanding into Chris’s studio next door, where some of his stock is already waiting for you
  • Chris is gradually removing his books to make way for Tom’s furniture and interior products and will use the wall space in the studio to display and sell prints and posters
  • The Old Yard Coffee Shop continues to be a watering hole and meeting place for locals and visitors alike, and Jane has introduced a number of new items to the menu
  • Sally has a new tin of dog treats and there are two water bowls for dogs in the studios

The artists and creators would love to see you, so call in. The Coffee Shop is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm. Check with other studios for opening times.

And more images…

Pamela Thorbury and Louise Dwyer

Pamela and Louise now share the studio directly opposite the Coffee Shop. Pamela makes a range of ceramics and Louise designs jewelery

Apeman Interiors

Tom runs Apeman Interiors and sells a range of furniture and interior products, many sourced from the Far East, Japan and China.

Nunnington Rare Prints

Chris still has a few books for sale to make floor space for Tom’s furniture. However, the walls of the studio are already the place to go to buy paintings and posters.

The Old Yard Coffee Shop

There cannot be many places in North Yorkshire – sorry, the UK – where you can sit outside in the warmth and sunshine (we live in hope) and, sheltered from the wind, feast on delicious paninis and coffee, looked after in style by Sally, Jane and their staff.
