The War memorial

The names of those from the parish who died during the 1914-18 conflict are engraved on the memorial.

The Low Street Copper Beach Tree

The tree was planted in memory of Richard Hildreth (great-uncle to Helen and Chris Cooke) who enlisted in the Yorkshire Regiment in March 1917 and was killed just 22 days later on 1st August 1917 (now, of course, Yorkshire Day).
