A Nunnington Day out, c 1950

Jul 1, 1950History0 comments

In 1950,or thereabouts, a group of villgars from Nunnington went on a day out…

The photograph, kindly provided by Malcolm Smith, shows what Malcolm believes was a party of Nunnington residents on a day trip in 1950 or thereabouts. The location is not known.

Malcolm’s grandmother is the lady with the hat in the middle row, and his grandfather is directly behind her. Uncle Kenneth Smith is the young man on the right middle row, and Aunt Joyce Smith is next to him.

(Thanks to Malcolm Smith for providing the photo and the story.

The photographer is unknown, but we would be happy to acknowledge the individual if he or she can be identified.)
