Connect with Nunnington
There are several ways you can connect with Nunnington.
Register with Nunnington.net
Nunnington.net is run on WordPress. You will need to register with nunnington.net/Wordpress if you wish to buy tickets and view restricted content.
Please use the Registration box on the right to register and log-in. You will also find a registration link on the home page and near a ticket purchase box.
When you log-in, you will be taken to your profile page, which you can update if you wish. The dashboard gives a brief overview of recent posts, comments etc. However, most visitors will want to go straight to the site, which you can do by clicking on the “Nunnington Village” lin to left of the screen.
Subscribe to posts
Subscribing to posts means you will receive an email notification of new posts. You will not receive any other emails. New events are not notified. However, the “News Flash” ticker tape at the top of the site normally has a link to new events.
Simply add your email address to the “Subscribe to Posts” box.
News Flash
The News Flash ticker tape at the top of the site is updated with new events and important information. Blue text is a link which will take you to the post or event. Yellow text is unlinked.
Calendar
The calendar is accessible from the link in the menu at the top of every page. You can view the calendar by month or list. The calendar includes details of a wide selection of events in the parish, including church services, rubbish collections, exhibitions, coffee mornings, pop-up pubs and more
The newsletter, diary and email list
The News team produces a newsletter and diary, normally published at the beginning of each month. To receive a copy by email, subscribe to the parish email list using the form on the right. We occasionally send additional emails when necessary, but these are few and far between. You can always unsubscribe from the list at any time.
The Village Facebook Group Chat
You can request admittance to the Facebook Group chat at https://www.facebook.com/groups/nunnington. This is more immediate than the website and is a useful way of keeping in contact with the village.
In-person
It is good to get offline, and you can meet your neighbours at events such as pop-up pubs, coffee mornings, yoga evenings, the book club, the mens’ group and, of course, the Old Yard Coffee Shop (https://nunnington.net/old-yard-coffee-shop-2025/)
