Village Coffee Mornings

The first Village Coffee Morning on 2nd May was a very well-attended and enjoyable success, so much so that Maggie, with Sally’s agreement, has decided to make this a regular occasion on the first Thursday of every month until late autumn.

The coffee morning is an excellent opportunity to get to know others in the village, exchange news and views and tell others in the village about:

• The stray cat terrorising your Great Dane
• The least muddy footpath to walk along
• The awful book/film/play/concert/TV show you definitely don’t recommend
• How to get a replacement bin from the council
• What you did on your holidays
• The size of your tomato plants
• What you are bidding for at the silent auction at the Bash
• How to make your garden tortoise-proof
• And much, much more

Come to the Courtyard at Nunnington Studios on the first Thursday of each month from 10:30 am, sit down with a cup of Sally’s amazing coffee (or tea, or water…), treat yourself to a slice of Jane’s to-die-for cakes (including vegan, gluten-free – and chocolate), sit out in the warm sunshine (be positive) and set the world to rights at these informal village get-togethers.
