Books wanted

Nunnington Hall runs a pre-loved bookshop. All the proceeds go back into the Hall. Donations of books are very welcome.
In the past, the staff at Nunnington Hall have asked for books on all and any subject for our much-loved pre-loved bookshop at the Hall.

This Spring, they particularly want children’s books, including educational books, bedtime storybooks and children’s novels.

Specifically, there is a request for books on butterflies!! 🦋 🦋.

Books (children’s or otherwise) can be dropped off in the usual way at Nunnington Hall’s reception hut in the car park or at the main entrance in Stone Hall.

The Hall now has a separate children’s bookshop located in the Exhibition Gallery on the top floor, which is proving very popular with children, parents and grandparents alike.

For further information, speak to Anne at the Hall or any member of staff on 01439 748 283 or nunningtonhall@nationaltrust.org.uk.

Nunnington Hall is always eternally grateful for the books donated from the Village in the past and just incase you don’t know the monies gained from the sale of the books stays at Nunnington Hall for future projects.

Just as a side tract from our book shop. Mrs Fife loved her Iris Garden. This is a project that is going to be undertaken during the months to come in making it a truly lovely garden again but don’t quote me, this may not be something the book shop money will pay for or the National Trust but either way Mrs Fife would have been in awe of this. I’ve seen the plans at it will be glorious!
