April 2026 Newsletter and Diary

Welcome to the April 2026 Diary. You will find updates and further details on the online calendar at nunnington.net/calendar-months/.

The News Team reports on a couple of important events this month. First, Honor, who has taken over the Old Yard Coffee Shop, plans to open shortly. As we report, Honour has not yet set a date, but we are assured the café will open soon.

Many came to Jonathan Pomroy’s talk on swifts last autumn. As promised, he is now following this up with a walk around the village on 18 April, and he has written an excellent article especially for Nunnington residents, which is now posted on this website.

We also report on local artists exhibiting at Nunnington Hall this month, give a rundown of the results of charity fundraising events in March and of events to come over Easter in April.

Finally, the diary and related online calendar provide comprehensive details on everything from church services to the Malton Bus times.
