May 2025 Newsletter and Diary

Welcome to the May 2025 Newsletter and Diary

The May Newsletter contains details of Nunnington’s commemoration of VE Day, 80 years ago on Thursday, 8th May. The Parish Council has organised the event, a special Courtyard Drinks & Nibbles, and will provide welcome drinks and music from 6 pm.

All are welcome, and you can also dress up and bring along any WW2 memorabilia. Further details will be posted here on the Parish website at nunnington.net/event/VE80/

There is much more in the newsletter, including a chart of Parish rainfall going back to 2003, news of the new rubbish collection system coming shortly, a poem reminding us of Friday’s Coffee Morning (someone is a poet, but we are not quite sure who), events in May at Nunnington Hall and updates to the Facebook Group, Newsletter and website teams.

You can find out more about forthcoming events on the calendar.

And there is news of parishioners who hit the limelight in April.

Download using the links below, and read on!

Have a wonderful May.
